Peikko Group, a leading global supplier of concrete connections and composite structures, has appointed two new non-executive members to the Board of Directors: Morten Ørnstrand-Søborg of Knauf Group and Paul Rehn of StruSoft AB. The new members were elected by the Annual General Meeting of Peikko Group, and their term has started on 1 December 2018.
Morten Ørnstrand-Søborg is currently the Managing Director of Knauf Denmark, an entity belonging to Knauf Group, a family-owned global leader in gypsum-based products and systems, headquartered in Germany with a turnover exceeding EUR 7 billion. Morten has a solid construction material industry expertise from various positions.
Paul Rehn is the founder and president of StruSoft AB, an innovative Swedish software company specializing in structural analysis and design software. The company currently operates in 8 countries, with customers in more than 20 countries.
Jussi Vanhanen, CEO of Vexve Oy, continues as Chairman of the Board of Directors. The other Board members are Kasper Guldager Jensen, Senior Partner of the architect office 3XN; Philipp Jost, Head of Corporate HR at Sika Group; and Elmar Paananen, CEO of Troll Capital Oy. At the same time, after many successful years, Frederick Knauf and Stefan Nyström will leave their position as members of the Board.
